Health Factors: Work-Life Solutions
Helping you do more for your organization’s health
Health Factors: work-life solutions is a value-added program that integrates Great-West group benefits, online services and approved third-party resources to help you address organizational health issues such as employee absenteeism and presenteeism, recruitment and retention strategies, and rising benefit costs.
Health Factors helps you focus your attention where it’s needed most, by analyzing health data specific to your group of employees. We’ll examine your organization’s workplace health situation and connect you with resources that can help you influence positive change for you, your employees and your bottom line. Table Start
Solutions That Fit Your Needs

Table End
From basic health education to a comprehensive long-term plan, you can take action on any level. Some solutions available, such as GroupNet™ for Plan Members online services and our Health & Wellness Site, available 24/7, are free of charge, while others – such as Contact, Great-West’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP), or the services of a third-party workplace health consultant – may have costs associated.
A key feature of Health Factors is the Personal Health Risk Assessment (PHRA), found on Great-West’s Health & Wellness Site. The PHRA is an interactive online tool designed to help your employees identify and assess their personal health risks. Through the PHRA, your employees can create action plans outlining steps they can take to lower their risks.
Health Factors also includes the Organizational Health Risk Assessment (OHRA), a free diagnostic tool available through your Great-West account manager. The OHRA includes an overview of your organization’s top health risk areas, and provides suggested resources and programming that may help lower or prevent these risks.
As the OHRA is driven by drug claims data, some groups may not be large enough for the OHRA to provide objective information while also protecting confidential employee information.
As a leading provider of group benefits, Great-West has an active interest in workplace health. To learn more about supporting health in your organization, call Great-West or ask your benefits advisor about Health Factors: work-life solutions today.
