Agur Lake Camp Society in Summerland, British Columbia is working to develop a barrier-free facility for children and other people with special needs, along with their families, to enjoy nature in a safe and enabling environment. Through the Key to Giving™, Great-West Life has contributed $15,000 to furnish a cabin designed specifically for a handicapped person’s needs.

Building A Barrier-Free Outdoor Experience

Penticton, November 27, 2009 - Blayne Brethour of Great-West Life presented Penny Ritchie, past president of the Agur Lake Camp Society, with a $15,000 contribution through the Key to Giving™, the company’s national corporate citizenship program. The funds will furnish a new cabin at the Summerland-area camp for children and adults with special needs and their families.
