Coping physically, emotionally and financially with a critical illness or condition is just part of the picture. You may also need information to help make important decisions about your treatment. Best Doctors, Inc. is your link to information that can help you make informed health care decisions.
When you submit a claim for one of the critical conditions covered under the Oasis™ or Child Oasis™ policy, Great-West will provide you with the contact number for Best Doctors so you can access the following services:
- InterConsultation™ – provides an in-depth review of the insured’s medical records, personalized medical evaluation and treatment recommendations from specialists affiliated with medical institutions throughout the world.
- FindBestDoc™ – gives you access to the names and professional profiles of up to 3 top specialists based on your geographic preference, who have been identified by other doctors as the “best” for treating the insured’s condition.
- FindBestCare® – provides help with medical appointments and monitoring the treatment process to help ensure medical priorities are met.
For all of these services, you will have access to a Best Doctors personal advocate. The personal advocate will be the liaison with the physicians who are reviewing your case, keep you informed of progress and provide assistance related to the above services.
